Boots Mitchell

Beneath Boots’s pleasant and courteous exterior behind the Tripp DDS front desk lies a true adventurer. She lives for off-roading with her husband in their Jeep, exploring the undiscovered wildlands of Nevada, Utah, and more. Even as a child, she describes being fortunate enough to grow up traveling.  And when her restless spirit isn’t in full control, you can find her spending time with her daughter and two granddaughters.

Q: What’s your secret skill? 
A: Meeting a patient the first time. I’ve been told I am very pleasant and helpful

A: Moab Utah climbing Big Rocks!

A: Coffee on the back porch with my husband, enjoying the beginning of a new day, listening to the birds sing. Then, maybe going for a ride with my husband Russell and having lunch at one of our favorite restaurants

Ledena Brooke

Research is beginning to show that better dental hygiene leads to better overall health, and that sits just fine with Ledena. “I’m so happy to be able to provide a service that enhances overall health and well being,” she says. When she’s not at work, you can find her paddleboarding with her husband, Eric, in the summer, rooting for her son, Zeke, on the tennis court in the fall, skiing with son Dante in the winter, and “waging a one woman war on cheat grass” in the spring.

Ann Miers

Ann has two boys, Jackson and Lucas, with her husband of 29 years, Paul. She graduated from Idaho University with a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene and is a mean baker at home. When she’s not whipping up sweet treats, she’s coaching Galena High School’s mountain biking team and staying (heavily) involved in the Reno Tahoe Junior Cycling Program.

Michele Whitten

Michele, like so many Tripp DDS employees is a world class dental assistant with some serious Nevada ties. This Silver State native was born and raised in Reno, graduated from Reno High School, and can usually be found at Lake Tahoe on the weekends with her family. She’s been happily married for 19 years and is a self-described, avid baseball and volleyball mom of two teenagers.

Peggy Draper

Most people’s retirement plans involve expensive toys and burning as few calories as possible on a beach somewhere. Peggy’s has the beach, but that’s where the similarities end. “I’m looking forward to retiring with my hubby and possibly moving where there are sea turtles so we can be volunteers.” Until then, she’s taking care of another animal, Indy, her recently adopted puppy, and spending the days with her grown children, Cleighton and Erynn.

A: I can get almost any stain out of anything

Michelle Becker

Although born in the Castro Valley in California, Michelle is a Nevadan through and through. After growing up in Carson City, she graduated from Carson High School and devoted most of her life to dentistry, save for some time off to raise her three kids. Now, she and her husband of 25 years, Brad, are empty nesters waiting to see what life brings them. So far, it’s plenty of family time at Lake Tahoe, riding quads, boating, travelling, and a healthy supply of downtime.

Elena Luithle

Elena is your typical, Russian university professor turned dental assistant with a passion for the outdoors – ok, maybe not so typical. After earning her Ph.D. in economics at the University of Bernaul, Russia, Elena spent seven years as a professor in the finance and business school before immigrating to the United States in 2012 and starting her dentistry career. When not at work, you can catch Elena spending time with her family traveling, hiking, biking, kayaking, or swimming.
